Therefore, since we are justified - acquitted, declared righteous, and given a right standing with God - through faith, let us grasp the fact that we have the peace of reconciliation to hold and to enjoy, peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, the Messiah, the Anointed One.

We are a Fellowship of the Aboriginal Inland Mission. We have been worshipping at this Darwin church for thirty three years. The church building survived cyclone Tracy in 1974 which destroyed most of Darwin.
It is the aim and objective of this church to conform to the New Testament pattern for a church in doctrine and in practice. The Word of God, therefore, is our sole authority and we purpose to partake in the Great Commission of going into all the world with the Gospel, making disiples and teaching them to observe all things that have been commanded by the Father.
The purpose of the church is to bring glory to the Lord Jesus Christ and to herald his word to the world. In carrying out these aims we affirm that we are self governing, self propagating and self supporting as a church in our local community.

We hold as divine truth the following doctrines:

Scripture-The Scriptures of the Old and New Testament are divine in origin and are, therefore, the supreme authority in all matters of faith and conduct.

Trinity-The Deity and Unity of the Three Persons of the Godhead - Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

Fall of Man-The fall of man from his original state, and that all men are siners and need a saviour.

The Way of Salvation-Jesus Christ is the only way of Salvation - He died for our sins, and rose again for our justification, our eternal hope as believers is by faith in Him alone.

Sin-Sin is anything which is contrary to the Holy character of GOD.

Role of the Holy Spirit-The equipping and indwelling of the Holy Spirit in the life of a believer. The Holy Spirit equips each believer with gifts to be used for the edification of the church body.

The Church-The visible church of Christ is made up of born again, baptised people, walking in fellowship with Him and with each other, with Christ as the Head, seeking to proclaim the truth of the Gospel.

Satan-Satan is real and active and seeks to snare and control the lives of men.

Second Coming-The personal and imminent return of the Lord Jesus Christ.

Having been brought, as we trust by divine grace, to embrace the Lord Jesus Christ as our Saviour, and having given up ourselves wholly to Him; and as in Him we are dead to sin, the world and the flesh, and having been buried with Him in baptism and raised again, we do solomnly and joyfully covenant with each other to walk in newness of life with brotherly love to His glory as our common Lord.

We do, therefore, in His strength, particularly engage:

Care-That we exercise a mutual care as members one of another, to promote the growth of the whole body in Christian knowledge, holiness and comfort in all the will of GOD.

Exhortation-That we will frequently exhort, and if occasion require, admonish one another (according to Matthew 18:15-18) in the spirit of meekness, being careful not to be tempted in the same way.

Worship-That we will not forsake the assembling of ourselves together, for instruction, prayer, business, or evangelizing.

Giving-That we will cheerfully and as the Lord has prospersed us, contribute of our property for the relief of the poor of the church and for the maintenance of a faithful ministry of the gospel among us and for the spread of the gospel throughout the world.

Growth and Testimony-That we will pursue personal growth in our activities as exhorted in Philippains 4:8-9. That we will refrain from any activity that would hinder our spiritual growth and testimony to others and to the world.

Worship-That we will not selfishly seek after or emphasise certain gifts of the Spirit according to 1 Corinthians 13 and 14 .

We Pray that the Lord Jesus Christ may make us perfect in every good work: working in us to accomplish His will, to Him be glory forever.

Take it to the Lord in Prayer

Now this is the confidence that we have in Him, that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. And if we know that He hears us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we have asked of Him. 1 John 5:14-15

If you have any prayer needs please send us a Email with your name and prayer need. This information will be forwarded to our Tuesday evening pray meeting where members of our church can pray for you -

And it came to pass, that, as He was praying in a certain place, when He ceased, one of his disciples said unto Him, Lord, teach us to pray, as John also taught his disciples.
And He said unto them, When ye pray, say, Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done, as in heaven, so in earth.
Give us day by day our daily bread.
And forgive us our sins; for we also forgive every one that is indebted to us. And lead us not into temptation; but deliver us from evil. Luke 11:1- 4
